A Thought on Obama's Math

Let's say John is a sixth grader. John gets math homework to do. He sits down at home and reduces the fractions one by one. Then the last one is 2 trillion over 12 trillion. John think about. "TAKE OFF THE ZEROS!" he remember. John discovers 2 trillion is 1/6 of 12 trillion.

John is a sixth grader and Obama is a Harvard graduate. There is a slight difference in amount of school time there. I don't see how a Harvard grad couldn't figure that an additional 16% to the debt in one year is a negative. At that rate, he would increase the debt 64% in one term. That is 8 trillion dollars if he doesn't increase the rate of spending whatsoever. Even that 8 trillion dollars doesn't take interest into account.

People say Obama is getting blamed for what Bush did. Well in 8 year bush worked up a 12 trillion dollar debt WITH interest. Obama in four years will have doubled that. Outrageous.

Educational Issues

Repetition is a negative thing. The act of repeating creates a process that damages the ability to absorb more knowledge in the future. It turns into the same thing that you come in and do day after day. It is no longer learning the skill when you have repeated the skill for 5 years. The development in a repetitive process is harmed by the ongoing focus on the old while allowing the ability to accept the new to atrophy. When you do not absorb new skills, you do not absorb anything beyond what your repetitive allowed you to absorb. This hampers the skill set collectively as the system is established as a repetitive one. When there is only one skill set in the community, the desire for a more skilled population will lead to unemployment. The repetitive system dooms the collective class to a downward spiral of limitations and unnecessary parameters.

The way to improve the repetitive system is to kill it. Eliminating the repetive system with the processes described in the rest of this essay will, I believe, lead to an improved educational system. Repetition endangers the population by making sure everyone on the same low calibur. Employers will be forced to look elsewhere for qualified employees leading to a stagnating community that ends in failure.

I deeply apologize for my inactivity with the blog. I hope to jump right into it with an opinion on healthcare. Here it goes:

The healthcare reform package passed a bit ago WILL insure the 30 million people targeted by the legislation. I won't go off on the quality of care tangent here. I repeat...it WILL insure the 30 million people. The problems in the end of the process. In order to pay for those 30 million, businesses and personal taxes must escalate. This will cause businesses to close down in the beginning. Now these bigger companies cut benefits. so we have like 16 million uninsured from the benefit cuts. Then an additional 12 million from unemployment. So throughout this process we have already destroyed coverage for 28 million people. The legislation has insured 1/15 of its goal overall. Then the problem grows as those 28 million people are now eligible for the healthcare legislation. When those businesses closed, they shrank the tax base. Now the government isn't making as much and the issues of payment with 30 million people has nearly doubled. The burden must then be put on fewer people. That will cause there business to close and insurance to be lost. The downward spiral continues until it hits the bottom and businesses are done the government can't function and we are consumed in....chaos.

A Bad Move

It is a bad move for a White House to start attacking the most watched news network. I reference the Stephenopolis-Obama interview. Obama refered to a network devoted to smearing his Presidency. He has repeatedly attacked Fox News because they think differently than his administration. I don't know if they realize this , but notable dictators have done the same. Fox News employs numerous Anti-Obama and Anti-Liberal commentators and pundits. The idea of fighting the NEWs MEDIA THAT PEOPLE WATCH TO FORM THEIR OPINION is a stupid move. Florida Senate

I know this is in Florida, but the US Senate seat is open for election. I like Charlie Crist ever since he was considered for VP back in 08. I thought that he was pretty conservative the everybody talked about him. I didn't read anything about him because I thought Romney had it in the bag. Now, Charlie is running for Senator and people are calling him centrist, moderate, and leaning conservative. This shocked me because of what I had heard. Then, I heard the announcement of Marco Rubio, Florida Speaker of the House and fluent Spanish Speaker. I heard he is a devout conservative Republican and fought with Crist many times. I like both of them but I need help deciding who is what and who is not. Please write in with responses.

Have you heard that the government lost the original moonwalk tape? NO NOT MICHAEL JACKSON!!!! The one with Neil Armstrong saying "One small step for man, and one giant leap for mankind.". Yes they lost it in the office during a revamp of the tape. They said it was to grainy and unclear so they sent it to some guy to clear it up a bit. That perfectly understandable and ok in my opinion. I like visible movies too. The problem happened when they came back to compare the old and new tapes. THEY LOST THE OLD!!!!!!!!!!! These are the people that want our health records and know our prescriptions...pht!! What should make us think that we can trust the government with anything that has personal information. You see, we can't. It is a personal responsibility to provide for yourself. That means you work for a living, you buy the food and pay off the cars and house with that money, and you live with what you work for. Obama has said that his "Public Option" does not mean the government will control the healthcare , or at least right away. What his plan will do is give unrivaled prices for (iffy) coverage. The private sector healthcare providers will then be taxed by the government to pay for there own competition to run on. Businesses will lower prices to try to compete with government, but that will result in them collapsing and the government taking over life and death situations that only our private insururs could understand. It is to show that we are the United States of America and by gosh, nothing will bring us down. The Case Against NCLB

NCLB is something that I disagree with on the grounds of being a student and a limited government believer. As a student, I see the way teachers teach the test and limit the learning of more advanced students to what the lowest standard of the class is. Any teachers that have not been there for at least 15 years or are small government teachers (trust me they're real), are looking at there teacher's manual every other minute. They teach the test to the fullest extent. After I saw the Standards Tests material, I wrote my own five-page test. I gave it to 15 students separated into 3 groups. Remember I know these people personally so could make good decision where to group them. The groups were Advanced, Intermediate, and Basic. I wrote a second test based on state standards. I gave them out 4 days apart. I gave out the state test on Monday and collected it and didn't look at it. Friday, my test was given to the test subjects. I tallied results over the weekend. It turns out that the test that challenged them more they did better on. I asked my groups which challenged them more. A slight majority of the Basic group said that my test was harder. Intermediate students were evenly matched one person said they were heavily challenged by both. I knew the Advanced group thought that it would be esy. Mine challenged them strongly,a nd they did great on it. I actually wrote three tests for each group. Challenge helps.

In 2006, Democrats openly sieged the Capitol Building. That was day America stroked. They gained control and set up an agenda that would snap the limbs of the Constitution. We made one of the biggest mistakes of the decade and here is why.
A. Liberals believe that our troops are dying pointlessly at no reward whatsoever. Freedom is always worth the price.
B. Liberals believe that you should have the same as everyone. That means that you pay more taxes so they can “spread the wealth around”.
C. Liberals believe that we can make the technology needed to “save the environment” magically appear.
D. Liberals are the ones that make people like me feel small to make them appear big.
E. Liberals are the ones that discourage success by saying if you try you will be discriminated against.
F. Liberals are the ones that will make everything government.
Explanations
A. Our soldiers die for us and our freedom everyday. They deserve our full respect and support. Liberals don’t understand that they die for the liberal’s right to say “Our soldiers are dying for nothing”. They die for freedom. Hey say it isn’t worth it. Freedom is worth everything. Our men and women in uniform understand that more than me. They go in the line of duty for it. They know why they are there.
B. Liberals want to raise taxes on people like our families. This is dead cruel. Their reasoning for it is if someone succeeds everyone should share that success. I disagree. If I worked for it, it is rightfully mine. I should not have to give it up because someone is too lazy to get of their butt and live of welfare. THAT IS NOT ACHEIVER’S FAULT!!!
C. Liberals are big environmentalists. They believe that we could walk outside now, put up a windmill, and generate power. No. We don’t have the technology that is needed t make electricity. We are paying for that non-existent technology.
D. I am a conservative. Conservatives are the exact opposite of liberals. We try to make government smaller to make sure that a dude from Houston isn’t telling a New Yorker what to do. Liberals try to make us feel small so they can walk al over us. That is not happening here that’s for sure. We might have fewer numbers, but we are not standing down.
E. People can succeed. You can go invent something and sell it right now. Liberals say that if you try you will be discriminated and a failure. You won’t be. If you try, then it is possible. Liberals don’t want you to succeed. They want to be able to take what you have and say we are going to take care of you.
F. Liberals will make government big and try to control everything. This is how they control what you hear from MSNBC and CNN. They are the liberal networks. Watch FOX And Friends not the Today Show.
As you can see liberals stand facing the common person not expecting a fight, but the truth is , we’re staring right back at them.

Republican for a Reason

If these past few weeks are a symbol of how his presidency will be, I will oppose just about every bill that Obama proposes. I know there are people that say I am racist for saying that. I’m not. I am from the party of Lincoln, Reagan, and Mckinnley. We are the party that freed the slaves. We are the party that saved the US Economy 30 years ago. We are the party that showed mercy to an assassin. We are the party of security and peace through strength. I am a member of the party that lets you keep your money instead of take it and give it to that hobo down the street. Republicans are the party that respects your right to bear arms.
Everyone knows Abe Lincoln. We know that he won the civil war for Union. We know that he freed the slaves. What you probably don’t know is that he was a republican. In fact, he was the first Republican elected to the presidency. This is the Republican Party that is still working for America today.
From the late 70s to the early 80s, the country was in bad financial trouble. The Carter Administration had caused a meltdown. Then 1980 came. It was between Reagan and Carter. Reagan won and implemented his economic plan. People went from paying $0.70 per dollar to 32 per dollar. I know that is still a lot, but it was a dramatic decrease that saved us. Reagan was a Republican. We are the party that saved the US Economy.
William Mckinnley was wounded by an assassin while at a charity. A shot rang out and Mckinnley fell into his chair. He would not let his guards harm the man. He died years later after an infection slowly climbed into the bullet wound. He was Republican. We are the party of mercy ad forgiveness.
I have listed three remarkable men that have formed the foundation of my and hopefully your party. Republicans stand for many things these are a few.

I'll Never Forget

On Thursday night, Clinton Cottril passed away in his sleep. I met Mr. Cottril at the local Longterm unit when visiting my great grandpa. He was a very kind and smart man. He always encouraged me to never stop learning and thinking. Ivisited everyday I was out there from there on out. One time my grandma mentioned me being Republican. He chuckled and told me he was too. From there on out I knew I could talk politics without offending Mr. Cottril. The last time I saw him before he died was about last week. My whole family came and visited. We talked there for about 20 minutes and left. He suffered a heart attack on that Thursday. He suffered for only a few hours. Mr. Cottril then passed. Today, I went to his visitation. He was a veteran of WWII. It wasn't like other visitations I went to. At this one, everybody was exchanging " Remember when he...." stories and laughing. In his coffin was his WWII Veteran hat, a picture of him and I guess his wife, and a picture of hi home. I truly will miss Mr. Cottril.

I endorse Jay Wolfe for the US Senate. He is a good solid conservative. He supports our troops, is pro-life, he strongly belives in the 2nd Amendment. He is what we West Virginians need to represent us in the Senate.
Shelley Moore Capitoe must be re-elected. She has served us all very well. Anne Barthe doesn't carry the banner that needs to carried. I believe that Shelley is a great and respectable lady that will continue to serve us.
I hereby endorse a great guy with us West Virginians in mind when making decisions. Dan Greear is going to be our next Attorney General. He will justly enforce the consumer protection laws. We will not repeat the McGraw Audit. I believe that Dan has the right stuff.
Russ Weeks would be a better governor than Mr. Manchin. I think that Russ is a great guy who is honestly conservative. He believes in merging the mining industry with the government. This would be a pretty decent thing.
Charles Minimah will be a great Secretary of State. He is an honest man. He has lived in WV for a long time. He strongly believes that the major question isn't how you vote it is how you do the voting. Charles is the right guy for that job. Natalie Tennent is a reporter, can you trust her?

Why can't Biden just be quiet about the Bridge to Nowhere? I mean come on. She was home cooking for her five children or pushing a good cause in the PTA. She wasn't even Governor yet! He just can't stop bringing up the project in his speeches.
The whole Democratic Ticket is hypcoritical when it comes to the BtN(Bridge to Nowhere). Like I mentioned in the paragraph before, Biden can't be quiet the BtN. He has asked for somewhere around 176 million dollars in earmarks this fiscal year. This "year" started on July 1st I think. He has also called for a perfectly good bridge, to be replaced. The distance between them is eh...... 50ft. This is my favorite. HE VOTED FOR THE BRIDGE TO NOWHERE. Both times!!! Read it and weep liberals.

The government starts taking over businesses. I am a big free marketer, free enterprise advocate, and capitalist. So I hate the idea of the government controling businesses. Government regulation kills the jobs.

I think of the scare tactic when dealing with gun control and crime. I oppose gun control. Gun control does a lot like kill gun industry jobs, violate the 2nd amendment, and it influences the black market selling of guns.
The way you reduce crime is the death penalty. When someone thinks of the gas chamber, it should scare anyoe in thei right mind.

Yesterday was very fun. I got to see Former Senator Fred Thompson. His speech was hilarious!My favorite part was about a tax increase. He said that the congress say that a tax increase won't target you only businesses. So, as long as you don't buy groceries,gas, or clothes , or get a paycheck from a business the tax increase won't affect you.
There was also Senator Joe Lieberman. I don't really like Lieberman so much,however he does support Senator John McCain. I liked his speech because it wasn't pessimistic.

Hi Everyone! I am the father of potus2036. Riley and I embarked on this journey together because of Riley's passionate interest in politics and his intense patriotic feelings for the United States of America. This has to be one of the Top 5 experiences of my life ranking right up there with my marriage to Tracey and the arrival of my three sons.

The things that Riley and I have experienced and seen together on this trip are truly wonderful. Riley mentioned the US Flag display in one of his earlier posts. This display is a private collection and is rarely viewed by the public in its entirety. It represents the timeline of the creation of our United States as well as the struggles that occurred along the way. Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime Father/Son experience.

Also quite amazing is the number of young people we are seeing participate in the Convention process. They are energetic, engaged, and inspired by the challenges facing their generation. In spite of the doom and gloom presented on most every newscast, I see hope for our political process in their young faces as well as potential solutions in their ideas and comments.

This truly is the greatest country in the world. A country in which father and son are free to travel across the country to witness the rights to assemble and speak freely in support of beliefs is truly priceless.

We went to a breakfast that was sponsored by Arch Coal. The food was very good. I also got a few questions from a reporter.
There were also appearances from Gov. Blunt, Shelley Moore Capito, and Joe McCain. Governor Blunt talked about Hurricane precautions in Missouri. Mrs. Capito just gave reason to vote for Sen. McCain to Senator McCain. Joe stood out above the other speakers he brought in John's flight jacket.

Civicfest

Dad and I went with the delegation to Civicfest at the Minneapolis Convention Center. They hand a not-so-miniature miniature White House. They also did a McCain merchandise store in the middle of the dome. Oh yea, someone showed a private collection of American and Confederate flags, that was so cool I could have got a sleeping bag and lived there.
They had a Abe Lincoln museum on wheels, a C-Span booth, food, founding documents, and new people from all over the country. The museum was very nice. They had a holographic Abe, and the Civil War in Four Minutes. I enjoyed the C-Span booth that had little clips of Democrats at their worst moments. The food was too fancy(I had a beef sandwich). They had a huge selection of founding documents like the Declaration. I also met people from Arizona,Illinois, and West Virginia.

I am sitting in a very nice hotel room, looking out onto Minneapolis.I love Minnesota. The geography is nice. It is cool outside. The city is not New York at all. It is not industrialized as many people would probably think it would be.

The trip up here wasn't excactly paradise. We had rest stops every two hours(that slowed us down). I got acquainted with some of the delegates. I sent out LIVE!!!! reports from my Dad's phone. I sent them through email to some of my best friends. We had a smooth trip overall.
I slept half of the of the time and the other half I read and talked about politics.

I sat beside Giulani,Huckabee, and Thompson supporters. They all three fought over social issues. Then, I came in and said something and the conversation dissolved.

Immigration

I think that immigration should be halted by increasing border agents, allow them to use guns and other necessary weaponry, and build a fence. First of all if border agents could use guns, we wouldn't be having this problem! Secondly, I would build a fence from the coast of Baja California to the border of Texas, that is 20 feet tall and it has barb wire the last 3 feet. If you get over it we are signing you up for the Oympics right away.
Then of course there are already people here aren't there. I am against amnesty. Although,I am not against citizenship. I think illegal immigrants should have to pay taxes and fees, learn english, and find jobs to become a citizen of the greatest country in the world. They should have to have be putting in more money into Social Security.
In conclusion, I think we should beef up the border security. In addition to cutting funding sanctuary cities, we should make illegals pay fines, learn english, pay taxes, and find jobs. Remember to forward this. Thankyou good day.

Social Security

The way to pay for Social Security is to tax the heck out of businesses leaving the country. Multiply the number of employees a company has by 10. Then the answer is the amount of money we take. So that can help pay for it.

If companies stopped leaving, then we set up a 3 cent per dollar income tax. This system might not make a bunch of money. That could mean Social Security running out, and that is why I would use the fees from illegal immigrants becoming citizens.

Therefore, Social Security would be fit for at least 20 years or so. If we could make money come into the government like nothing I would.

Energy

I don't see why energy (of all things) is such a complex issue. I mean if we can GARBAGE to biofuel, why can't the people use it! We (The US) have not built a nuclear plant in what, twenty years or so. How long has it been since we have built another oil refinery (or 3)?
What really bugs me is, that going green is a trend. After gas go's down, those hybrids will be worth NOTHING. Al Gore and his buddies are making it hip, but not permanent. This will eventually expire when gas is 1 or 2 dollars a gallon again.
If we want to fix this we have to a. build a nuclear plant b. 3 new refineries and c. solar ,wind,geothermal, and hydro electricity. I got this plan from my father who I agree with VERY much.

Hi I am Potus2036. You can call me Potus. I am a conservative Republican that started this blog to fight people like MoveOn.org. My favorite media anchor and commentator is Glenn Beck(thus the title).

I think that Obama backers should stop funding things like MoveOn.org. Those sites are way to attack without getting nailed by the media. It should become something like a Watergate or a Swiftboat. It should be marked as an political crime! Let's call it a MoveOn! Who's with me?

If the media would uncover the MoveOn Controversy, this election could be.....FAIR!
The liberals probably hate the sound of that. People that fund sites like that, not to mention tax the snot out of us, force healthcare on us (coughs Hilary's name), and have Al Gore tie himself to a tree and say "Kill the economy, not the trees!!", should impeached if they get office.
